When a SERVD chef cooks for your table, that booking funds a meal for a family in your city who needed one. Not a meal handed out as a one-time fix — a meal handed over by a community partner already doing the work of feeding, teaching, and equipping people on the wrong side of food insecurity.
Our first partner is Metro Caring in Denver. They don’t just feed people who are hungry; they teach, advocate, and equip. We’ll add a partner in every city we serve, the same way — vetted, local, on the ground. We’ll fund it, one booking at a time.
Because the gap between people who cook for joy and people who cook to survive isn’t talent. It’s access. Capital. A teacher. A kitchen. We can build that bridge from the same place we already stand — your dinner table.

For 50 years, Metro Caring has worked the long way around the hunger problem: free-grocery markets, multilingual cooking classes, community-led policy work. They don’t hand out cans. They equip people to feed themselves, their families, and eventually, their neighborhoods.
Our giving commitment goes here first. Every booking on SERVD nudges the cooking-class roster, the produce truck, the policy team — the full stack of what it actually takes to root out food insecurity in a city.

Every dollar your chef quoted goes to your chef. No commission, no take rate, no hidden split. That's the whole deal.
